Coordinating the wedding of a Princess.

Truly. I mean it. Disney royalty got married last week! Alex and I had the honor of attending and coordinating the wedding of my beautiful friend Katie and her handsome husband Tyler. Katie and I met over a decade ago working in Tokyo, Japan. Little did I know then, she would now live down the street from me and we would both been married in 2017! It was an honor to have Katie and Tyler celebrate our marriage earlier this year in New Orleans and this week Alex and I were grateful to coordinate their beach-side wedding in California.

Katie and Tyler tied-the-knot in front of family and close friends Thursday, September 14, 2017 on the lush green lawn of an ocean-side St. Clemente landmark. The beautiful southern California sunset framed their first kiss to cheers and applause. The guests sipped on signature “Just Married Martinis” and “Mint to be Margaritas” while enjoying jazz and incomparable golden voiced live performances. An heirloom tomato salad followed by a duet of chicken piccata and herb marinated tri-tip set the stage for the delicious dessert, vanilla wedding cake filled with raspberry. Family and friends danced into the evening enjoying a choreographed first dance (duh!) by Katie and Tyler and loving Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances all accented with amazing live vocal performances. The two set off for a Hawaiian honeymoon through a tunnel of friends and streamers, pulling off in a traditional black limousine.

I know I know, you want photos and more details! They are coming! For now, you get the cliff notes! I will be blogging the full breakdown with photos and vendor information on “creating Katie & Tyler’s wedding” soon! So, check back to see the behind the scenes of this beautiful wedding!
