Alex and I had the honor of planning the international union of Yueheng and Peterson last month! The traditional wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful gardens of the Five Crowns in Corona Del Mar, California. Yueheng’s parents even traveled from China to walk her down the aisle!
Guests enjoyed morning scones and mimosas upon arrival and were treated to a brunch of prime rib sandwiches and salmon, with creme brûlée and donuts for dessert. The main attraction of the afternoon featured a choreographed, and perfectly executed, first dance by the newlyweds! Once the dance floor opened the party kicked up a notch quickly filling with family and friends enjoying the celebration.
The father and brother of the groom gave heartfelt and beautiful speeches perfectly capturing the love these two share. The love and support of their friends and family flooded the wedding until the very end of the afternoon.
But the party didn’t end there! Close friends and family continued the celebration into the night at a second, Chinese themed, reception. Guests entered the private club house flanked by 2 huge traditional red lanterns. Once inside lanterns continued to sprawl through the dining room and courtyards. Here, guests enjoyed wedding cake and personalized fortune cookies! If anyone was STILL hungry, the mother of the groom graciously provided her guests the In-N-Out food truck for late night snacks!
As the sunset, on what was a beautiful wedding day, the bride and her band gave a special live performance for their guests! It was such an honor to celebrate Yueheng and Pete’s union. The love they share with each other and their families continues to be an infectious reminder of how wonderful weddings truly are. This is certainly a celebration we were proud to be a part of and will never forget!
